Today is all about…February 2026

Another month of 2026 has come and gone. Granted February feels like it’s a year long in itself, but we’re past it.

Now the rest of the year will pass in a blink of an eye.

Nights out

I’ve been feeling a bit hermit like recently. Getting out for a boogy was nice for a change. I also enjoyed a few too many sherries.

In The House

This is a new club night, and I wanted to go. So I went…on my own!

I wasn’t worried, though. I knew I would know people who were out. So, I wouldn’t be on my own for long. And to be honest I wasn’t. I literally saw some peeps that I knew while in the cloakroom queue and stood with them for a while.

It was a really good night. The music was spot on and the people were too.

Unfortunately, I can’t go to the next one in April. I have my niece’s birthday the day after. I have to be sensible!

Babylon

This appears to be an annual thing now. Since Queer as Folk’s 21st birthday Cruz has rebranded to Babylon for the night/weekend. We are transported back to the 90s.

This year, Cruz decided that they would have a day clubbing event as well as an evening one. The oldies all appeared to want the day club session, and it was an absolute blast.

It felt like the attendees are the peeps from years gone by. It felt like nothing had changed, apart from less hair in the room but more wrinkles!
