I decided to make the husby a wee Xmas decoration to remember 2021 by. And what better way to remember the year is by the fact we were all living through a pandemic!

I was part of a discord group for cross-stitching for a while, which helped give some hints and tips to improve my skills.
This was the first stitch-a-long (or SAL for short) that I did. A SAL is when a group of stitchers do the same pattern together. Parts of the pattern are dropped at regular intervals.
I quite enjoyed doing it, as it was interesting to see how other people used different clothes/threads for the same project.
It was the first time I’ve used black Aida fabric, which is a lot harder to stitch with.
