While it feels like January is the longest month of the year, February is more of a blink-and-miss-it kinda month!
It currently feels like life is a conveyor belt, mostly filled with work and gym, although there have been a few memorable moments this month.
February saw the Neighbours 40th Anniversary Tour make its rounds through the UK, and I had the privilege of bookending the show.
It started in Birmingham, where I did the meet-and-greet and I had a great time, albeit on my lonesome.
The show ended in Manchester, and I met up with a few other fans, watched the show and then went out for a few drinks, and was lucky enough to meet the cast again.
A fantastic time was had, and while I generally don’t get hangovers, I was tested after this night out.
Although within 48 hours of the tour finishing it was announced that the show was being axed again! So, yeah, that was shitty!
February also saw the husby and I celebrate 21 years of being together. 21-fucking-years! Who would have thunk it?
Unfortunately, apart from some gift swapping, we didn’t do anything to celebrate as we were both working.
We will most definitely need to celebrate the wedding anniversary in October.
