Oops, I’m a little behind with my ‘Today is all about’ posts. So I’ve got some catching up to do, so let’s start with March.
To be fair, March was quite a quiet month, apart from the usual malarkey that we call work, rest and play.
Work had been quite stressful at times, and to make matters worse I came down with the lurgy. Eurgh!!!
Of course, there were a few times that I let my hair down with friends. However, the highlight of the month was when I was railroaded to help out at a club night.
One of my friends was a backing dancer short and needed someone to fill in quite quickly. The job description didn’t really leave much up to the imagination…you need to be in a jock, dance, simulate sex and get covered in cake!
After a lot of pleading from the husby and the friend that had to drop out (in all fairness, he fractured his foot…falling off a step!), I finally agreed to do it.
So let’s just say, I was nervous as hell, as I am not generally someone who gets their bottom out in public. So, to get it out. and be on stage as well, was a baptism of fire.
Nonetheless, as the night went on, and the alcohol flowed I started to ease a little. When it came to the show, I was not as nervous.
In fact, I had a ball. Who knew that getting covered of cake in the middle of a club would be something that I could say that I have done?
