With March coming and gone, we are now a quarter of the way through 2023. How the feck did that happen?

Neighbours Tour
At the beginning of March, I went to the Celebration Tour for Neighbours.
I have never hidden my love for the show, so to meet some of the cast and then go down memory lane was such a fantastic way to spend an evening.
This was a review of my experience of the day.

Woke
March saw queer icon Paul O’Grady pass away suddenly.
We have reminisced and rewatched many classics from his alter-ego, Lily Savage. We have remembered why Paul/Lily captured a nation.
Many celebrities have been sharing their memories/love for Paul. Although one just boiled my piss, as it showed pure ignorance.
Amanda Holden had the audacity to say Paul O’Grady wasn’t woke!
And it was basically the tip of an iceberg for me.

1. Paul O’Grady was woke. He fought against injustices throughout his life. He even labelled himself as woke.
2. Being woke is not a bad thing. Fighting against social injustices is not a bad thing.

Office makeover
When we first moved into the house, we decorated the spare room with leftover paint from the furniture.
However, as the spare room was to become more of an office than a spare room, it was time for a complete revamp.
So at the beginning of March, the office was repainted from top to bottom, and a darker backdrop.
The majority of the room has been finished. We just need to purchase a sofa bed, for when we have guests staying over!
New teeth
Recently, it seems that a few peeps that I know are getting themselves some TurkeyTeeth™.
After a lockjaw incident, I needed to get myself some UKTeeth™!
Yep, after a couple of visits to the dentist this month, I am now the owner of some lovely dentures!
Currently, they are a few shades lighter than my real teeth. However, I am about to start some teeth whitening treatment to rectify that.
So while the incident wasn’t ideal, it has solved an issue I have had for a few years and will help with my confidence going forward.
